Aluminum Alloy Magnesium Silicon

EN AW-6060

Available formats: Bars, tubes and profiles.

Typical applications and uses

EN AW 6060 extrusion alloy is widely used in European countries and is the most widely used due to its high hot deformation capacity, high extrusion speed and high propensity to achieve an excellent degree of aesthetic finish, in particular by anodizing .

It has average mechanical characteristics and its propensity for deformation makes it ideal even for the creation of profiles of complex shapes for multiple uses of low mechanical load.

Heat treatments:

  • Architectural sections for windows, doors, curtain walls.
  • Interior accessories, frame systems, lighting, stairs,
    railings, fences
  • Heatsink sections, electronic modules, housings
    electric motors.
  • Flexible mounting systems, special machinery elements.
  • Floor for trucks and trailers, pneumatic installation, rail,
    interior applications
  • Watering, heating and cooling pipes.
  • Furniture, office equipment.
