Aluminum Manganese Alloy

EN AW-3003

Available formats: Plates, Plates, Bars, tubes and profiles.

Typical applications and uses

Aluminum with copper alloy EN AW-3003 has a very good extrusion capacity and, depending on the heat treatment, is very suitable for cold forming. Machinability is acceptable. The alloy can be welded well or very well by several methods.

It is mainly used in the construction, chemical and food, home automation, household appliances and kitchen and home packaging industries.

Heat treatments:

The aluminum alloy manganese EN AW 3003 is mainly indicated for laminated semi-finished products specially indicated for drawing and forming. It does not maintain a good uniformity in anodized finish, so lacquering is more advisable. It has a great heat dissipation power.
