Typical applications and uses:

EN AW 2007 is a copper alloy that has excellent machining behavior, with high cutting speeds and good chip removal, so its field of use is very varied.

 

It has relatively little resistance to atmospheric corrosion, so a protective anodizing is recommended.

Features:

EN AW 2007 is a copper alloy to be gradually replaced due to its lead content (it can be replaced by 2011 or 2017 alloy).

 

EN AW 2007 can also be found as cast iron 2007FD and 2007LF which is a new lead-free alloy.
