It has excellent machining behavior, with high cutting speeds and good chip shedding, so its field of use is very varied.
It has relatively little resistance to atmospheric corrosion, so a protective anodizing is recommended.
EN AW-2007 is a copper alloy to be gradually replaced due to its lead content and can be replaced by 2007 LF alloy or EN AW-2011 or EN AW-2017).

The latest RoHS directive (2018/740 / EU) and REACH set the limit for lead (Pb) in aluminum alloy to 0.1% as of 05/18/2021 (previously it was 0.4%). At Broncesval we have alloys such as 2007 LF where LF stands for Lead Free or Lead Free.
