Aluminum Manganese Alloy

EN AW-3105

Available formats: Badges and plates.

Typical applications and uses

Aluminum Manganese Alloy EN AW 3105 is an alloy with manganese that varies between 0.5% and 1.5%, which significantly improves the mechanical characteristics while maintaining good plastic deformability. It presents intermediate values both from a mechanical and plastic point of view.

Applications: automotive industry, air conditioning and ventilation systems, residential coatings, carpentry and panels, heat exchangers, kitchen utensils, packaging, ceilings, pipes, drawing works.

Heat treatments:

EN AW 3103 Manganese Alloy Aluminum has high corrosion resistance and medium strength and is suitable for welding and bending.

Alloy with properties very similar to EN AW 3103. It has very good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and good weldability and better mechanical characteristics than alloys of the 1XXX series.
