Aluminum Alloy Zinc EN AW 7022 is an alloy that was created to meet the demand of mold manufacturers for a material that could offer the hardness and work capacity necessary for the construction of molds and equipment.

 

Typical applications include molds for thermoplastic blowing and injection molding.

Heat treatments:

High strength alloy indicated for applications with structural load of sectors such as aerospace or defense. There is a risk of corrosion lowered tension.
