Aluminum Alloy Magnesium EN AW 5083 is an alloy with high characteristics and resistance to corrosion in industrial environments and seawater.
It is used in the construction of ship superstructures, railroad cars, pressure vessels at low temperatures, defense applications, heavy duty structural towers after welding, mobile cranes, bodies, dump trucks, platforms, pleasure boat hulls, railcars for mines, missile components, etc.
Applications for molds:
The footwear industry, blown plastic bottles, thermoforming, rubber industry, dies for the industry in general, for foundry.
Commonly used in the construction of industrial machinery such as bakery, textile, toys, automotive, naval, templates, etc.
Heat treatments:
Annealing: 30 min. at 2 hours at 345 ° C - 380 ° C.
