BA18 | Bronze Copper Alloy Aluminum Iron

Available formats: Bars, Tubes, Caps, Plates and Plates.

features

Aluminum bronzes such as BA18 provide superior hardness and corrosion resistance to other bronze alloys. It is used in applications where the importance of corrosion resistance is high and in marine water environments.

Aluminum together with iron and nickel in BA18 C95500 acts as a reinforcer in these alloys. All aluminum bronzes can be heat treated, which further increases tensile strength.

The UNS C95200 copper alloy is released from tension at 316 ° C (600 ° F). The time needed to relieve stress is approximately 1 h / inch thick. This alloy does not respond to heat treatment.

Applications

Acid-resistant pumps, gears, valve seats, guides, plungers, pump rods, bushings.
INDUSTRIAL: large gear parts, pickling tanks, soft alkali applications, hot milling guides, heavy duty clamps, hydrant parts, welding jaws, pickling equipment, worm gears, worms, pump bars , valve bodies, wear plates, thrust pads, bearing linings, pump parts, valves, valve seats, acid resistant pumps, bearings, bushings, gears, plungers.
RISK: gun mounts, gun guides
MARINE: marine hardware, covers for marine hardware, propellers, marine engines.
FASTENERS: nuts
ELECTRICAL: electrical hardware
