The B10 CuSn-based alloy stands out for its excellent hardness, toughness, wear resistance, corrosion and elasticity properties. They need to have good lubrication, which allows them to work with high specific loads.

 

Since welding is carried out in a very short range and at a high temperature, tension during welding and cooling should be avoided.

 

Tin bronze castings, such as the B10 alloy, are used in components of mobile bridges, turntables for bridges and other structures for fixed and expansion bearings with slow or intermittent movement with heavy loads.

Applications

Lubricated parts with high load, impact and coupling. Serrated parts of high request. Crowns, Gears, Bearings, Shirts, Nuts, Screws, Worm, Swinging, Friction Rings and Nuts, Connecting Rod Bushings, Presses, Cranes, etc.

 

Tin bronze alloys are typically found in gears, high strength bushings and bearing applications where high strength and low speeds and heavy loads are present. Other high strength applications for these alloys are pump impellers, piston rings, steam fittings and valve bodies.
