GGG-70 is a type of ductile cast iron material with high tensile strength (SG cast iron, nodular cast iron). It has a relatively high tensile strength and good abrasion resistance. Therefore, this quality of cast iron is suitable for producing mechanical parts with high performance.

Brinell hardness

There is no strict stipulation for the hardness of ASTM A536 100-70-03, however, the normal hardness range should be 230 to 300 HB. (Brinell hardness) without heat treatment.

Heat treatment response

GGG-70/2 responds better to heat treatments versus ferritic grades. In particular tempering and tempering as well as with all conventional methods. And potential hardness of 50 Rc on the surface and greater depth of hardness across the section.

Micro structure

Due to the high tensile strength, hardness and good abrasion resistance, this degree of ductile cast iron can be used to produce crankshaft, shaft, camshaft, main shaft of milling machine and lathe machine, well caps high performance, etc.
